FROM THE HC....
One of my two sons (the smart aleck one - won't tell you which side of the family he takes after) asked if HC stood for "Head Cheese." I assured him that it didn't. But I also want to assure you that my role as Wing Chaplain and the role of the able staff that has come along side me...we are here to serve you. Please do not hesitate to phone or
e-mail with any concerns or questions.
I want to express my appreciation to the many who have sent by way of e-mail or phone calls their words of encouragement and support.
In Service Together,
Paul
Chaplain (Capt.) Paul Ward

CHAPLAIN/MLO CONFERENCE - September 7-9
After much discussion with Region and Wing Chaplains' staff, it was the general consensus that the CAWG Chaplain/MLO Conference be held in conjunction with the CAWG Conference (won't face the possibility of billeting being cancelled at the last moment and opportunity to get a bigger picture of CAWG through attending various workshops). The Chaplains/MLO Conference will begin on Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The cost is for this activity is $10.00 per person to defray cost of meeting room and additional materials. A separate registration form is being sent to you for this portion of the conference. You will need to register and pay the registration fee for the CAWG Conference. Registration forms have already been made available.
The Friday afternoon session will be closed to the CAWG membership. On Saturday one of our sessions will be devoted to MLO program. Material will be available to interested parties as well as Squadron Commanders for learning more about the program and the application process. Another session will be conducted on Saturday (the topic has yet to be determined). Chaplains and MLOs will have the opportunity to attend other workshops that are being offered during the CAWG conference.
Registration forms and fees for the Chaplains/MLOs Conference should be sent to Ch (Capt) Chuck Ingram. Registration forms and fees for the CAWG should be sent to Wing HQ.
