Magnetrain to Use HEW TechnologyResearch and Development to start in 2009June 1, 2009 -- Original team members of Magnetrain have come together to start a new company to build the Magnetrain, an high speed transportation system that is permanently elevated and levitated with the use of permanent magnets. Today Magnetrain announced it will use the technology being developed by a new research and development company HEW to power the system. In the mid 1970's Mr. Roy Vinson envisioned a new mode of transportation, one that would be feasible to replace all current modes of land transportation, moving both passengers and frieight. He contacted a small group of engineers and friends who began to work with him on prototype. In 2002, Mr. Vinson passed away but not without leaving his design and his development team in place. Mr. Jim Kroh was the original designer of the train with Vinson. Adelle McKinney was Vinson's public relations and marketing officer. Together with additional team members who are expert in power and systems, Mr. Jerry Prickett and Mr. Thomas Darby, they have formed Magnetrain Worldwide Group. Additionally, Ms. Lily Yang will serve as CFO, Ron Parkhurst as Director of Development and Dr. D. Chung as head of Research and Development. For more information: Visit: www.magnetrain.com
